fat lip after rolling

So i went to my first massive this weekend and rolled my ass off on 4 pills. They took my gum at the gate which ended screwin me over. pretty much went to town on my lips from all the jaw clenching now left with a swollen upper lip and torn up gums. just wondering if anybody has some tips to help the healing process. thanks.
 
Try washing your mouth out with sea salt and water, I did the same as you before. Chewed my cheeks and lips up till they were bleeding, so I used the extra sea salt I used to wash my piercings with.
 
Same shit happened to me, they took my gum away and I ended up cheweing the shit out of my lower lip all night. I found drinking alot of liquids that are salty or sugary helps to reduce the swelling but other then that its just a matter of time, waiting for it to go down.
 
As other have said salty water helps and make sure you don't do anything else that causes gurning until your lips fully healed or it'll just get a lot worse. Maybe next time get some magnesium to prevent/lessen the gurning, i've never tried it myself but a lot of people swear by it.

Also why the hell do they take your gum off you? Seems a bit harsh can't see any reason for it other than to cause annoyance to those who are rolling.
 
Next time, bring gum that's still wrapped from the store. Events tend to not allow anything that's already unwrapped, including gum, cigarettes, lip balm, etc. because they are afraid people will smuggle drugs in the packaging.

Have some anti-inflammatory, like ibuprofin, mix uniodized salt with water and swish it around, and see a doctor if you have any bleeding open sores that are too painful.
 
What the hell kinda retad backwards event takes gum off you at the main gate? Thats the stupidest fucking thing i've ever heard...

Probably the same kind of event that you can't take gum or any drinks through, but you can quite easily smuggle a machete in. =/

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I figured it is better than starting a new one. I just wanted to share a similar story from my roll last night. I indulged in 3 pills and was quite heavily intoxicated before reaching the rave. From there everything was pretty much a blur when I got back home after to look in the mirror and notice my upper lip swollen to all hell. I vaguely remembered making out with at least 3 different girls that night so, being the hypochondriac I am, I start worrying about STDs and whatnot. When I woke up this morning a buddy told me that apparently one of the sluts vigorously slammed her mouth into mine and delivered a juicy fat lip to me that I didn't even feel until morning. I will also add that my cheeks are torn to shit right now and my whole mouth is pretty much incredibly sore. Time for a few month breaker for me! :)
