Clonazepam or Klonopin (in the US) and (Rivotril) in Canada & Europe, has a half life around ~ 50 hrs. You won't have to worry about a benzo dependency at all.
I know that everybody has different body chemistry, etc... but Clonazepam is also even used for BZD tapers because of its long half life, although most docs prefer to use Diazepam for tapering.
But IMO, you don't need to taper. If you wanted to play it safe, for the next few days, cut your dose down by either .25 or .5, depending on how you feel. If you are worrying about getting Benzodiazepine Withdrawal Symptoms, you really have nothing to worry about. Man I wish I was you, and had only taken benzo's for 24 days. I have been Benzodiazepine dependent for 9+ years, and many months of extreme dosages of Flurazepam, Bromazepam, Lorazepam, Diazepam, & Clonazepam, and many other benzo's, pretty much every benzodiazepine that is available in North America, I have tried and used.
I wish my first doctor would have warned me about the addiction potential when I was first prescribed Lorazepam, and than Alprazolam for severe panic attacks.
Then he retired, and nobody took over his practice, so it was absolute hell in trying to find a new doctor.
Anyways, sorry for ranting about my shit. This post is about you. So, if you are really worried about, just cut the dosage down by .25mg every day for a few days until you get down to like 0.5mg or 0.25mg of Clonazepam per day. Other than that, I would just hop off if you are already at 0.5mg per day, or even under 1mg per day, and have only been using for 24 days. The worst you will experience is a little bit of rebound Anxiety possible a few days after you have stopped the Klonopin (Clonazepam) completely. That will dissipate fast though.
Other than that, some suggestions I have is go to your doctor, and try and get a prescription for Atarax (Hydroxyzine) which is an antihistamine with anxiolytic properties to it. Non Addictive, and safer than Benzo's.
But my friend, you are in the clear. I wish I was in your position.
I hope some of this was helpful, if not, you can always PM me. I have loads of experience with Benzodiazepines and research with them as I am having a hell of a time with my Diazepam taper now, as this would be considered my 4th or 5th detox.
Good luck, and don't worry. Live in the now (present), don't worry what's going to happen tomorrow, because tomorrow hasn't come yet, etc. If you catch my drift. If you are worrying about getting Benzodiazepine withdrawal symptoms, well that can actually make it worse, and make it seem like you are having Benzo w/d symptoms, but the mind if very powerful and can even play tricks on yourself. I've found this out as well, that there is a huge portion that is psychological as well.
PM me if you have anymore questions. Apologies to all for the long post.
Cheers
