i might be wrong but,where im from,if any drugs,like weed coke etc etc,smell like gasoline,it means its been smuggled in inside someones gas tank at one point.Not that its been cut with gas.

The reality is used in part of the process to extract the cocaine alkaloids from the raw coca leaves.
There is no kerosene in the final product, though.

Why is the coke really bad? I have had a lot of coke that looks, tastes, smells funny, and that is not necessarily an indication of its quality. I did hear somewhere that coke is now "out of season", which means that the quality of coke all over may generally be on the decline until spring. Not that you can't get any... just the quality might not be as good. Any thoughts on this?

Somtimes drugs that are soluable in gasoline are smuggled into countries in fuel tanks, its actually a really smart way to do it if you ask me, who would check a fuel tank.
I guess the fuel smell is just a little residue from that because i really doubt that marco or whoever is going to try to cut a drug with gasoline.

i understand about the coke now.the only reason i metioned the gas tank is because i had a 9bar of solid (cannabis resin to all you yanks),ages ago,that stunk of gas,and couldnt think of any other reason why it would smell like that.
BTW no-one would buy any off me because of that.

In THAT instance it could have been the case - yeah, they DO smuggle drugs in automobile, aircraft, and boat gas tanks .. I would have made it a selling point - say it's had a "special additive blended is that will doublethe effects of the THC" ..

aw man, do your self a favour and leave soapbar.. its dirt cheap for a reason, cos it IS dirt! it wasnt about before the 90s and we can get it back like that if you STOP buying it. if you cant get skunk, why not get expensive, quality hash? the only thing i wood contemplate using soap for is cooking!

TDK2FE, I really doubt the seasons have any effect of the quality of cocaine. From December until April of last year I was getting amazingly high quality cocaine. Even someone with a moderate tolerance could be well satisfied with only a half gram. I would also guess that since the exportation dropped due to the September 11th attacks that there will be stockpiles of it coming in where the batches were made "in season". I'm sure they didn't loose much potency being kept in a sealed bags in a warehouse or wherever.
And Psykosiz, I read an article in High Times in the spring talking about the "hash" aka soapbars in England. They said some of it has turned up literally containing tar from the street as filler since you couldn't tell when it was mixed in with the resin. Suppossedly some real nasty fucking shit.
