Fake Adderall XR?

I acquired Adderall XR 20mg. The beads look and taste right, but I can't feel it at all. Do people ever replace the contents of the capsule with something else? Is it possible that something could look and taste right but be fake? (I've never heard of such a thing, but I'm not exactly up in the whole culture thing...)

I suppose it's possible, any number of things might resemble the beads inside, but this seems like a lot of effort to go to to scam a few bucks ... but more likely maybe you're building tolerance?

I thought maybe it's tolerance, too, except with 15, I'm normally all set.

Definitely seems like way too much work for very little profit...weird. Maybe he skimmed off the top or something.

I also took 100mg of hydroxizine last night...I wonder if that could be the culprit?

It could be a bad batch of pills. Was it the blue Actavis brand? Those things suck IME. Adderall's generics vary greatly. Google this and you'll find thousands of people complaining about their Adderall not working anymore if it so happens that they are switched to a different generic brand.

Plenty of possibilities, no way of knowing for sure without testing. Contents could've been replaced (although unlikely if the beads look identical to legitimate capsules, seems like a lot of trouble for little profit), tolerance could be a factor, stomach contents could've hindered absorption, amongst other things. Unfortunately the only way to know is to send your pills in for testing.

Because nobody can reliably tell you what the contents of your pills are these types of threads will only lead to endless speculation, hence why identification threads aren't allowed. Although you haven't outright asked what was in your pills, there's really no where this thread can go besides generic vs brand discussion, substance ID, and endless speculation, all of which are not permitted therefor I have to close this thread. I strongly recommend purchasing a reagent test kit online to bypass the risk of getting ripped off or ingesting adulterated substances. If that's not feasible sending in your product to ecstasydata.org (Wedinos or energy control if your located in europe) should give you accurate insight into what it is you're ingesting .
