Benzos Face numbness

Why is it that when i am on benzos (xanax is usually the worst), alcohol (when im wasted i literally cant feel any part of my face), and lyrica, my face goes numb?
Has this happened to anyone else on here? Is it rare or common? I dont think im allergic to any of these (never had anaphylaxis)

Just a guess: benzos from the dulling of tactile sensation, alcohol from the vasoconstriction, and Lyrica from the calcium channel blockade.

I haven't experienced this, and it isn't something you should be chasing after anyways. Mixing benzos and alcohol is all bad and should be avoided.

Trust me, i learned my lesson last year. I mixed a normal dose of xanax (2mg) with a LIGHT 16oz beer and almost DIED, so yea no one do this haha. It actually took me 9 months to remember that night i was blacked out so bad.
