Ez Test Kit and colour change

Hi all,

I've been testing each pill that i get and 99% of the time it comes up with the dark purple colour that i want to see, today i tested one and it shows up purple but if i leave it for about 20 odd minutes it goes to more of a grey colour, which shows up as DXM?

My question is could the length of time leaving it in the tester make a difference on the end result? I mean the colour turns dark purple pretty quickly but on a few pills ive noticed a small puff of smoke when i take the cap off.

These pills i am presuming from the test and experiences are of a good quality, but i only started looking into DXM and its dangers when the first test came out more grey after that length of time.

Would it help to try and empty some of the test onto a plain peice of paper and see what the colour is?

Thanks in advance

Sorry to add, when i hold the test kits upto the monitor, its difficult to tell if its a light black colour or grey! the way myself and friends feel after taking these pills are as expected but sometimes we feel like sitting down rather than dancing and having a rush of energy. At one point we smacked out which i think is because we took too many in one night! Hope you guys can understand my concern to outrule the DXM stuff.

I assume you mean the eztest ecstasy, so marquis reagent? Well I know that the liquid has a sort of grey colour even right after the reaction if you let light shine through it, a bit like chinese ink in a thin layer. I never left it to sit for so long so can't say for sure but I think it's fine, seeing as I have noticed that same greyish colour on every marquis test I did. I'll test a confirmed MDMA pill I have here to verify and let the test sit for a while. Could you post a pic of what the liquid looks like? I'll compare it to what I have here

*edit* Yeah it went a bit more grey than it was right after the reaction so I assume your results are good if there weren't any other indications of abnormalities (speed of reaction, other colours than purple/grey/black, spots that don't react,...)

I had the same thing when I first tested.

I left it for a while and then the colour changed, it was certainly no longer purple! I also feel the same as you and your friends - just sit down and socialize a bit as opposed to dancing.
Or just walk around and talk to people, make friends, have a conversation.

I seem to feel that more often than I feel like dancing.

Anytime over 30 seconds the colour means nothing. It's what happens after them first few seconds that matters.
