Extremely fast tolerance buildup to Ritalin

I'm rx'ed 90 20mg ritalin ir tabs a month. I do every now and then take a good 60mg dose every 1-2 hours for 5 hours or so. I eat and insufflate them. When I do this, my tolerance builds up so fast that by the end of the binge I feel nothing from a 60mg dose, and it takes 3-6 days of abstinence to make a 60mg dose worth anything.

Is ritalin known for this? Or stimulants in general? It kinda sucks. Opiate tolerance takes weeks for me to build back up, whereas ritalin takes a day or two...

yes it is, if it sucks then stop abusing ur meds, or up your dosage even higher. ritalin is a crappy drug anyways, with adderall i notice my tolerance barely rises but i only binge once a month or so.

Stimulants do this in general, but I still always get good effects from Adderall. Ritalin is more likely to build a tolerance, and it's not as good of a drug. This is a pretty basic drug question, so I'm going to send it to BDD.

Sorry CH...still learning the ropes.

Yeah, ritalin isn't the best, but it's all I have access to. I've tried adderall and didn't like it.

Thanks for the info

It's horrible for tolerance building, I used to take twice a week max but within 2 months I had to take 120mg at least to get anything close to a high, tbf methylphenidate = fail in comparison to other stimulants.
