exceptional NOT mmt or subs for maintenance in the UK?

Bassicaly subs make me really nautious sweaty and more, and mmt makes me a bit loopy, and extremely sweaty, i can't walk 2feet without drippin... wondering if alternate opiate substitute therapy in U.K.? I've been on 100mg ir oxy, 60mg dhc and 400mg tram's /day for 3-4 months now just in Eu, bnecuase bupe's disgusting HUGE potency, it's not like i'm catching a buzz ffs!!!!!

So any ideas, morphine sulphate, allthough oxy seems to make more sense, less sedating, higher oral BA...? i very rarely IV these days...
any info... links...?

An old friend of mine was prescribed MST, morphine sulfate as opiate maintenance. DHC and Tramadol are also available.

Haven't heard of anyone getting oxy as maintenance over here, only for pain, but could be wrong.

As for the nausea, are you drinking booze on top? smoke cigs? that's gonna make you feel sick.

If you go private somewhere like http://www.staplefordcentre.com/ will prescribe pretty much anything, all they want is £££££££.

Seconding Fug, The Stapleford Centre will prescribe most opiates and opioids for maintenance apart from diamorphine, including oral preparations (not injectable ampules) of morphine, and dihydrocodine tartrate tablets (im sure they will prescribe bitartrate DHC preperations as well if you want something thats long acting / ER).

You'll have to pay for an initial consultation, followed by charges for monthly prescriptions which have to be issued by the clinic. The clinic is good in so far as it fills a niche, but if you live outside of London it can get very expensive when you add monthly travel costs on top of the prescriptions.
