Evaluating the damage cocaine has on the nose?

I do coke semi-regularly, on about a bi-weekly basis. Months ago I had a problem where my nose would bleed every time I blew it into tissues the days after coke use. One time this persisted for a week. Eventually it just kind of stopped happening even though I was doing more blow, I figured it was probably just a scab that eventually healed up. Now this symptom has come back, and my nose has been bloody for the past 3 days following coke use. I absolutely dread the thought of puncturing a hole in my septum. I figure I have a sensitive nose. Is there any way to evaluate the damage I could have done/be doing to my nose short of going to the doctor and admitting to all of this? I know the only real solution is to stop doing blow entirely :!..

Well usually if your septum is severely damaged by snorting any substance you can shine a light up your nostrils and see any wear and tear on most of your septum. I know this because I can see up mine and see there is a slight indent in my septum on the right side(which is wear I used to snort the most). You just have to get a good angle with a mirror to see it. If there are open sores that are sunk in, then it might be best to see a doctor and be honest. You can also try cleaning it with a nettypot which will clean and moisturize the damaged spot. But bleeding that severe after only occasional use might suggest your blow is cut with something corrosive. Clean your nose out with the nettypot every day once a day and find a new source for your powder man.
