Does anyone know specifically how Etorphine affects humans? Under what dosages and circumstances it's lethal, etc.

I understand that 5mg of this stuff can knock out an elephant, you can leave that part out of your response -_-

Still, there has to be some amount, even if only by dilution, that isn't fatal to humans... Right?

PostScript: Don't make any assumptions on what I will do with this information, I guarantee that you have no clue.

Etorphine is active in humans at 1mcg (0.001mg), a microscopic dose that you won't be able to measure without insanely expensive equipment. In China they use Dihydroetorphine in patch-form for a 7-day pain relief, and they also use it as maintenance for Heroin addicts (basically an alternative to demonised methadone). If you're planning to use an insanely potent opioid, I would suggest you stop at Acetylfentanyl. It lasts forever and has a much higher safety margin than Fentanyl.

Etorphine is actually considered to have a subpar safety profile even for large animals, just fyi. But the upside is it always comes prepackaged with the human antidote (naloxone).

If you're going from the upper bound of possibility (3000 times more powerful than morphine) you should (I use the term loosely, because you should not) start at 10-20 ug and titrate up from there. Good luck with that, precise measurement will be pretty important. I can't find any information on this being used by humans, so this is really weak guesswork at best. Do it with someone else with their hand on the antidote plunger. By which I mean, don't do this at all and just order some kratom or benzos or something from the Internet.

Somebody been watching dexter?

Just echoing what the other people here have said, etorphine is scarily potent; 5-15mg will knock out an eight-ton elephant. There is (theoretically) a safe way to prepare the stuff; if you could get the pure powder then you could dissolve half a gram of powder in a 50-gallon bathtub of water. That would give you a solution of 2.5 ug/mL, which is theoretically weak enough that 1-2ccs of the stuff under your tongue might safely get you high (assuming the solution is uniform, which I'm not necessarily sure will be the case with something this dilute). Of course, then you have to figure out where to store the fifty gallons of diluted elephant tranquilizer you just made, and if you screw anything up you're basically dead unless there's someone with you holding a needle full of naloxone. You're really better off sticking to more reasonable things.
