I was wondering if Diethyl Ether can be purchased in Pharmacies?
I am asking because I am reading Fear and loathing in Las Vegas and I read where he went to a pharmacy and he bought Ether there.
I remember when I was like 8 my parents got me Ether (i think it was), for killing insects without damaging them to collect them and I think it was from a pharmacy.

I just wanted to know if it can be bought and what the laws are before I go there and look like a drug seeker. I also just wanted to see what it is all about.
