After the rain
The thought of your smile
Helps me escape and brightens my day
Remember every sentence
Every word you say
I feel no stress
I feel no pain
Stare out the window
When my day slows down
I can hear your voice
And it's warm sound
I can feel your skin so soft
Lips so moist
Thinking of you
Like i have no choice
Spending days with you
Golden sunsets at the beach
Picnics on soft grass
Benneath the trees
I know you’ve got that other guy
Does he make you smile or make you cry
When you talk on the phone does he make you sad
When you need somebody there to hold your hand
All the poems i've written up to this day
All the things i've yet to say
Show you how i feel and what you mean to me
As the years go by
And the nights get cold
I'll always be hear
For you to hold
