Stimulants ephedrine?

It is related to the amphetamines. It is mostly adrenergic (norepinephrine/noradrenaline releasing), however. This means that it is not considered recreational by most people and has a lot of side effects. Ephedrine can cause some nasty vasoconstriction-related side effects and isn't too good for your heart in the long run.
The effects are similar to amphetamines but I wouldn't call it a "high".

I think ephedrine will give you a more kind of adderall type high, but not euphoric in the slightest and not as robotic. It is essentially like taking l-amphetamine which isn't very desirable. It will keep you awake, and keep you focused to a higher than normal level but nothing like adderall or ritalin. The come down (in high doses) is dreadful, much like adderall comedowns.
It's not really a goo thing to take recreationally but if you need an energy boost and focus boost then yeah it's good. Keep the dose low (30mg) I'd say tops. Anything above that and it gets nasty. Less is more with this stuff.

Ephedrine will give you an amphetamine-type effect that is quite physically stimulating (acts on the PNS), but it can actually cross the BBB to release semi-significant amounts of dopamine in the CNS, making it more mentally stimulating than pseudoephedrine.
In contrast, amphetamine preperations like Adderall will be CNS stimulating (d-amp), and PNS stimulating (l-amp), and Dexedrine will be almost purely CNS stimulating (d-amp only in dex).
Amphetamine preparations I've tried, in order of most physically (PNS) mentally (CNS) stimulating:
Pseudoephedrine > Ephedrine > Adderall > Dexedrine/Vyvanse

ephedrine was a bad idea, it's like all the bad physical side effects from meth, but nothing else. it's basically l-methamphetamine, which is a horrible substance.

If you want a real amphetamine like buzz that's over the counter, buy a propylhexadrine inhaler (or rather, Benzedrex), its often sold right next to where the Vicky's inhalers containing "l-methamfetamine" are found. Propylhexadrine does stimulate the central nervous system and is quite euphoric and long lasting. You need to break the inhaler open and cut the cotton into little pieces which you then let soak in lemon juice (or some other type of acid) of at least 15 minutes (I've found an hour to be the best amount of time to wait). When the time is up, wring out the cotton of all the liquid, throw it away, dilute the lemon juice/propylhexadrine solution with some water and drink it down. I around 20 minutes you'll start speeding. It's similar to methamphetamine IMO moreso than regular Dextroamphetamine, though its a bit dirtier. However, for harm reductions sake, no matter what, DO NOT SHOOT THE RESULTING SOLUTION. The only reported deaths due to Benzedrex (with propylhexadrine, not amphetamine) were when users extracted propylhexadrine crystals and then injected them.
Also, each inhaler contains 250mg of propylhexadrine, which is approximately equal to around 50mg of Dextroamphetamine (so D-amp is around 5x stronger). If your tolerance is low or non existent, you can easily get two doses out of one inhaler. The main downsides are that drinking this shit down tastes like crap mixed with lavender, and that it causes pretty bad vasoconstriction. However it is a good fall back stimulant and unlike l-methamphetamine and ephedrine, it actually does cause euphoria.
