Ephedrine

I have a question. I live in California and ephedrine is illegaly here. But you can buy herbal ma huang, which contain ephedrine alkaloids. Is this the same as ephedrine? The product i am using is minithins 25/50 (25 mg ephedrine alkaloids, 50 mg caffine), which is labels as herbal. Muchos gracias....

No, Ma Huang isn't nearly as potent as ephedrine.. but if you're looking to stay awake and study, it should do the job (provided you're one of those still responsive to weak stimulants) ..
As for ephedrine being illegal in cali - I was not aware of this.. are you sure all ephedrine products are outlawed, or only pure ephedrine? (which isn't sold OTC anywhere in the US)

Ephedrine HCL is illegal to sell in Cali, but not illegal to buy. This means you need to buy from a government approved/certified pharmaceutical company that makes ephedrine hcl. they are hard to find and expensive. you won't find them at walmart, sav-ons or gnc anymore.
Herbal ephedrine or ma-huang is completely legal, but way less potent. you can find them anywhere by the names of mini-thins, ripped-fuel, thermadreme, thermolift, etc.
