Misc Electronic cigarettes in Canada

Hello Bluelight... I have been spending more time here lately and needed to get something off my chest.

I have been smoking cigarettes since I was 15 (I am now 22) I am addicted, and I really hate the habit and basically everything about it. I enjoy the cigarette if I haven't had one in a few hours... but that is the only plus (not a very good one)

I have heard from people about lots of things to help me quit, acupuncture, hypnotism, the patch, the gum... I have been told not to bother with those... I even gave in to the nicorette inhaler... which was a piece of shit.

I am completely sick of the way cigarettes make me feel, I bought an extreme vaporizer recently and really like being able to use that instead of smoking weed.

So of course when I heard of the electronic cigarette I was amazed. I was already over cigarettes, I wanted an e-cig and either learn to quit nicotine... or at the very least take it in a way that isnt as harmful!!

I placed an order with an American site which immediately told me that they don't ship to Canada due to the ban. "What ban?" I thought.

I started reading and realized that the Canadian government has banned electronic cigarettes due to it being unhealthy, when it is quite obvious they are saying "Cigarettes are expensive in Canada, and the Canadian tobacco companies can't lose business to electronic cigarettes... so we received a fucking dump truck full of money to create some bogus test results on the vapor production from e-cigs"

When I realized this I wanted to cry, I live in Canada, the REAL land of the free! and this is the shit I have to put up with. I have never felt so betrayed in my life (nevermind bill c-15)

So, Canadians or otherwise, what do you think of this, and do you know of a quality e-cig that will ship both the unit and nicotine to Canada??

Volcano is a pretty good company and I think they ship to Canada. Do a google search

It's total bullshit that these things are illegal in Canada. They're 'DANGEROUS?' I mean FFS, what about the real thing?! such a bullshit double standard. In this case, I actually buy into the quasi-conspiracy bullshit about the government bending over backwards (or forwards, as the case may be) to protect big tobacco.

Shoot me a pm if you find something that works out. I'm interested in trying these too.
