I will be going for sure, will be my first music festival-esque event, so nice way to kick off the summer :D

I just got my hotel booked! I'm SO pumped for this!! Anybody else going to this?.. Are you getting tickets for the afterparty too?... I didn't, would rather try and find something else to go to, but if no luck I may drop it for it also if it's not sold out!
 
I will be getting tickets for the afterparty, Not so much for Tritonal, but hopefully their house dj Johnny Funk will be there, as he is pretty nice. i'm sure their will be lots of house parties around aswell
 
I sincerely doubt it. While there will certainly be officers inside the event, typically there's just event security working the door.
 
5 days to go ^_^ Really hope VIP is like the LA/Denver version where theres free water :)

Sincerely doubt it, i have never seen dogs at any other functions down at fairpark, cops are usally just there for crowd control and cuz its such a bad neighboorhood but not usually tryin to confiscate drugs at the entrance

This'll be my first rave of any sort. I plan to have some peruvian torch tea inside me before I get in line. Any ideas on the waiting times at fair park at an event as big as this?
I'm able to handle myself pretty well on it in public, so I don't think acting all crazy or having ego loss will be a problem. But do the security people or cops care if pupils are dilated or anything like that? I can't imagine they would, but I'm paranoid. And it doesn't say its not allowed on the site, but can I bring in unopened packs of gum?

I was just wondering because Insomniac said they WILL have drug dogs at EDC L.A. and I know that cops can show up if they want with K-9's, I just don't know if they think it's going to be as big as it will be. I hope they don't have any K-9's because I want to sneak in stuff to redose throughout the night. But oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see in two days!!
 
they should have had fans in the "warehouses" (where they usually have the car show during the State Fair). other than that, I felt the entire event went over quite well.

So did they have drug dogs? Going to EDC in Orlando this weekend
 
EDC security was fuck lax last year, I wouldn't stress.. I had a drawstring backpack and the security just peered inside and waved me through, didn't pat me down or check my pockets. Insomniac has never been strict in their searches from any of my experiences with them. i've never been worried about the searches keepin me from bringing anything in

and last year i saw cops just a few times, but they were usually just standing in a group off to the side just overseeing things and then would walk away.. they weren't fucking with anyone, just making sure no one underage was there and no one was openly selling drugs/fighting, ect. Just keepin the peace yo
