Thought I would make a thread on EDM festivals for 2013 seeing as the 2012 season has now well and truly ended. Discuss what festivals you are planning on going to, lineup additions, location, travel, possibly even meet ups? Could be helping other people out on here too, especially when it comes to ticket selling or booking accommodation/flights/travel.
EDM festivals are growing in their number and for me are the ultimate peak of fun - three/five days of amazing music, friends and sunshine...
As I'm from the UK, I'll go with the obvious EDM festival selections:
Outlook Festival (Croatia)
Easily the biggest and best best sound system festival in the world. The finest DNB, Dubstep, Reggae, Hip Hop and Bass/Garage music, taking place over four days. Tickets for 2013 are on sale now! Just LOOK at 2012's lineup
Dimensions Festival (Croatia)
The sister festival to Outlook, Dimensions is the place for all lovers of underground Bass music, the 4x4 Garage movement and Tech/House. 2012's lineup:
Hideout Festival (Croatia)
Taking place earlier in the season (end of June/beginning of July), Hideout has a diverse lineup every year. Tickets for 2013 are due to go on sale very soon!
Echo Festival
The new festival on the block. This newbie emerged in June of 2012 with a staggeringly cheap price for tickets for an exceptional lineup of EDM artists. Also taking place in Croatia, 2013's outing is an extra day longer and, like it's contemporaries, will involve boat parties this year.
So get sharing festivals you're planning on hitting in 2013!
Tickets for 2013 festivals, if they're not already on sale, will be very shortly. Would be a great idea to discuss everything here so if anyone has trouble with festival logisitics, i.e. travel, what to take, which one to choose etc. Btw, I am in no way associated with any of these festivals and I'm not here to promote them (like they need promoting, lol). Just wanted a place on here to discuss.
