i'm curious as to whether anyone else here does or has done ecstatic dance. for me, it's definitely a religious experience, and it doesn't require drugs. i did it at raves, i did to disco music at the 40watt in athens ga. i have this weird idea where i'd like for sui generis american buddhism to adopt ecstatic dance, which only a few theravadans in sri lanka do now.

Lol no, what's that? There are raves in GA? lol My area seems pretty consrvative. Au__g____.

That's the hint, don't solve it here. I'm private.

I think first I feel more of a oneness. I have staked out my little area and dont give a fuck about how I appear to others. But more generally yes, unity with others doing the same. Cosmic love, no. I dont think there is such a thing but I understand how someone more spiritual would equate the two.
