I know a lot of you smackers out there get your H in stamped bags or stamped packets. In the interest of harm reduction for these users would be to create an updatable database of stamps. A user, hard as it might be, could do the community the service of sending off a sample to the lab for testing, so that other users could compare. Where funding would come from, how the (more) intense stigma would be dealt with, are problems I don't know how to address. I'm sure there are other issues. Please, find them.

Failure to use the search engine ftl. This is already done here (albeit a full-on database isn't allowed, only listings of dangerous stamps.)

+1, Doko. As soon as I opened this thread, I was already thinking about that thread. But yeah dude, there's already a stamp report thread going on. People just need to refer to that one...


...& I honestly don't think "sending in your dope" would go over or even work that well. I mean, really, who's going to send in a pack of their dope, when they would MUCH rather do it and get high? Because lets be real, there's a HUGE difference between ecstasy users and heroin users...

Most not all, but most heroin users are dependent on the substance. Most ecstasy users aren't. So sending off one of your rolls isn't really that big of a deal. But, if a heroin user has two bags left, and can't cop the rest of the day, what do you REALLY think he's going to be thinking? I HIGHLY doubt he's going to be sitting there like "man, I should send one of these into ED.org & see what the purity & the cut of my heroin is!"

...He's going to be like "fuck that, I'm doing this last bag so I'm not sick for a little while. Fuck whatever the purity is, and fuck what it's cut with!"

So yeah, I don't think this would work. I mean, the only way it could potentially work... Is if non-using people went out and bought stamps/packs and sent them in. But I mean, how many people do you know that are going to spend the money to first cop the dope, and then spend the money to send it into ed.org? I don't personally know anyone that will...

batches of dope change from bag to bag, dealer to dealer, week to week, so much that test results would be pretty much useless. it would be great in a perfect world though so i can appreciate your hopeful idea. :)
 
I know the registry isn't open for the other forum, but opiophile has a thread where users post about stamps they get.
