RCs EC3 "Magic Powder"

Here in the UK, there is a powder sold over the counter called "Magic".

It sells for around 15 pounds/gram, and there seems to be little information about it online. I was wondering if anyone has heard of it or has any experiences with it? The effects are somewhat stimulant, and it's marketed as a replacement for Mephedrone, which has been recently banned here. There's no way it's going to be chemically similar to mephedrone - from a purely legal point of view - and since I've never tried mephedrone, I can't really compare.

I have nothing but good things to say about it, but I'm not the most experienced chemical user, so would appreciate any advice or comments from more experienced users. I really enjoy it, but having nothing to compare it to, as well as the little information online about it makes me want to maybe hold off for a little while until some more information surfaces.

Anyone have any advice or comments?

i would like to hear a detailed description of its effects. atleast more than what you have just said. like...does it make you crave more when your doing it? do you snort it? how "stimulated" do you get? etc....
 
silly drugs and their silly pushers. you should have probably thought over buying something without a list of the contents on the package. I wouldn't snort any unknown compounds like this. If I put something up my nose I plan on knowing what it is before it goes up (or down, however you think is best...) the hatch.
 
I've just gotten some (in the interests of science, you understand). Fine white powder, some small crystals in it. It numbs the tongue almost immediately after dabbing a tiny amount.
No discernible smell (but I do have a cold, so YMMV) and doesn't taste particularly bitter.

~100mg line freezes your nose & front 2 teeth very much like good coke used to (coke is all shit now, in MY day, yadda yadda). It has a mildly cokey effect, pleasant enough but nothing to break out the marching band for.

Upon snorting a line, there was an aroma/flavour hit in the back of the nose that was faintly redolent of Dimethocaine. That weird, almost mothball like smell. Nowhere near so hideously pungent, though. This stuff isn't so ridiculously hydroscopic either.

It's not bad like, considering someone gave me a 1/4g line of 'coke' the other day that could have had it's ass handed to it by a large espresso and this stuff's half the going rate for street-'coke'.

I reckon the numbing's Benzocaine, but god knows what the stim side of it is. Unless someone's found a way of stopping Dimethocaine feel like shoving mothballs in your face that is.

Overall, meh.

C-minus, could try harder.
 
Court of Appeal...

After sharing a couple of grams with some friends tonight, I might have to revise my opinion upwards. It's not half bad as it goes. Wish I knew what was in it. Maybe someone has managed to somehow tweak Dimethocaine & make it Not Awful?

Doesn't really matter, posting speculation as to what a substance could be isn't really allowed here.

To the OP, look up a company online that will identify the substance for you. It's the only way. A reagent test wouldn't really work because this substance is most likely fairly new strait from a Chinese lab so whatever color the reagent reacts to it would tell you nothing.

Don't do drugs when you have no idea what drug you're doing.

Granted mephadrone users were nothing more than ginnie pigs, at least the stuff was pure and frankly blew the socks off most illegal snortables. The real reason it was banned was because it had the potential to undercut the criminals and hinder the governments system of leverage and control.

Needless to say all recreational drugs carry an element of risk but far better buy them legally from a registered retailer, than fund organised crime and get ripped off with crushed pro plus and teething powder!

I've used 'Magic' at the weekend for a few months now and prefer it to 'coke' (or whatever it is they're selling) its cheaper and lasts longer and even makes your teeth numb just like the good old days of coke. I tried an RC called 'China White' last week which also pissed all over street coke.

In reality Cocaine is a nasty bastard and I will always turn to the less addictive alternatives.

So long crack heads!! ...smoke weed and be happy!
 
^yep. Please don't bump long dead threads just to rant a bit about sociopolitical issues and your personal preferences... as case said, this thread shouldn't have remained open anyway - it slipped through the cracks.
