Eating problems :(

Hiyaaaa,

jsut a bit of a prob atm :(

always been a big eater, im quite skinny, but seriously i should be fat by now, the amount im used to eating.

but since iv started smoking weed (2 and a half months ago) my appetite has completely disappeared. i hardly have the want to eat and when i do, i can almost finish half of it, before i start feeling full and sick. occasionally i can get the munchies and make myself eat but its rare.

i havent smoked since sunday when i feinted after smoking a bit. so i may just have to cut it out completely cause I have lost weight, keep getting ill and dont feel I have much energy.

anyone had similar problems? know how to solve them?

i miss wanting food like i used to!!!
 
its just wierd that liek ive never had a problem eating b4 and iv always know when to eat

now i have to remind myself

and its running me down :(

no weed since sunday :)

lets see how long i can go and if the situation can improve

hah thats crazy i have the EXACT OPPOSITE problem, if i don't burn some tree i cant eat anything, not even a bite.
 
Stop blazing and see if that helps?
I have read about a few people having appetite problems after blazing, I am the total opposite :)
 
Doctors give weed to AIDS and cancer patients so that they'll gain weight..in a form of a pill

It stimulates your appetite, therefore you tend to eat more and gain weight.

Smoking tobacco can help you lose weight though because it has the opposite effect...so are you mixing tobacco with your smoke ? or does weed just make you nauseous?
 
A couple years of toking hijacked my appetite, but yeah ofcourse you cant become dependent on weed. phh I was dependent on it to eat which im dependent on for living sooo...
 
well thats the thing, mostly, ill eat beter once ive had a smoke, but i only smoke in the evenings after work (past 10pm) so even if my appetite is accerelated, it gets pushed back by the fact that my bod isnt used to eating that late and usually im so blazed i go a sleep.

oddly enough, eat a roast beef and cucumber roll in bed last nite whilst watching scrubs at about 1-2am, whicih is the 1st time since sunday that iv smoked.

have you tried forcing yourself to a more normal eating schedule? i know that when i eat late at night, I don't usually eat breakfast the next morning. Usually it ends up I wont have time to eat anything until the late afternoon and I end up wanting to eat late again. Maybe try a hit or two when you wake up, so that you can boost your appetite enough to eat a big meal :D
 
running will boost your appetite. Also, if you just don't have an appetite you might try a protein shake every day.

What if your decreases appetite is not related to smoking, but has a different cause? It could just be coincide that you started smoking about the same time.
How much weight have you lost? If you are losing weight for unexplained reasons you need to see a doctor.

Maybe you should get your thyroid checked.

Please understand that I'm not trying to freak you out, but some cancers can present with fatigue, weight loss, faintness, lowered immune system. Those are classic symptoms that need to be explored.

I bet it's the reefer, but why take any chances?
 
I eat 3,000- 4,500 calories a day. I've been smoking 4ish-5ish years, nearly daily at this point.

I weigh 143-148. I've been trying to gain weight. I get about 250g protein a day, and avoid junk food. I can't gain wieght, but my appitite is still there. Try getting your body back into shape. I work out everyday and have found that weed has had NO negative effects on me thus far. My energy is always up, I am still able to run (I had to cut cigs down to 2 a day though) 1 mile in 6:40, or 2 miles in 13:12.

It's never just one thing. Try changing your lifestyle up, or just stop smoking. If you don't want to give up smoking, it's time to take care of your body.
 
yea buzzy, i totally know where you're coming from. for years now, if i don't smoke when i first get out of bed early, i won't be hungry until after lunch some time. it's a weird thing. i'm just not hungry before that and if i try to eat, i get full very quickly and almost nauseous if i continue on. then, after i blaze, that's gone. it feels somewhat like withdrawal from something, not sure what it is. exercise does help, though.
 
exercise...may have to try that one. dont thinkk iv done propern exercise since. uhm....year 11 when i was stopped being forced to do PE once a week...

i mean im not fat or anything, but i was a good size, like i was 8 st 8 lbs and im about 5 4, 5 5. but yea im now between 8 and 8 3 depending one what ive been doing

but now im doing a lot more and not just thinking about not being bothered to do anything, things have picked up. had difficulty eating today after feeling feint. but after forcing myself to eat a bit of pasta and sip water and take my mind off it by actually getting into work, felt welll better and then stuffed my face with popcorn and some shephards pie!!

just need to take care of myself i think and stop moping around in my room

thanks for all your comments :D you little super stars, made me think about being mroe responsible for myself so i dont have to be moaning about how im tired and ill all the time
