Is the EZ Test Supreme (which the site says will be available in May) going to be the same test/reagent as the E2 kit? It sounds like it's meant to detect the same chemical differences, thus EZ Test = E1 and EZ Test Supreme = E2 (and then it mainly becomes a question of pricing and/or shipping time, to pick who you want to buy from)?

i'm fairly sure that they will be different reagents.
there are 14 or so classic colourmetric spot test reagents. EZ Test/Dancesafe/E1 are all Marquis reagent, one of the 14-ish.
E2 is a different reagent. i'm not sure if ChemGen would prefer i didn't mention its name or not, but i'll say this, it's name begin's with an "M" as well.
i think that the "EZ Test Supreme" is yet another reagent, one whose name starts with an "S".
from what little reading i have done, the "S" reagent is only useful for specific amhetamines, most especially MDMA/MDEA and MDA. however it doesnt seem to give a good indication for a broader range of substances like ketamine, etc.
now ketamine in pills seems to be mainly a large problem in third world countries like australia and canada. we also see far less MDA out here. so maybe your choice of which kits to buy should be influenced by where you live.

Johnboy,
you've left the UK off the list..
since Ketamine is not a controlled substance (though it is restricted as a medicine), its has become widely popular here, and testing just last night, I picked up 2 K pills which would have gone undetected otherwise.

see i had no idea that k was in pills in the UK till you just told me, and you didnt know till you tested them. we kinda knew about k pills in oz, thru anecdotal reports, but we had no idea how many of them were around till we started testing. wonder what it's like in other countries?

"... third world countries like australia and canada..."
Canada and Australia are 3rd world? Who's CIA factbook are you reading?

j/k.

And Manitoba (my former home province in Canada) has the Highest rate of MS (multiple Sclorosis sp?) per capita in the world, because of testing done during the cold war.

Sodium nitroprusside tests for secondary amines... would be good after, say, a Marquis to look for a methylenedioxy group...
