E smells like??

I bought some pills the other day from a new dealer and he told me to smell the pills.. WTF?? I smiled and took a whiff...but anyways, does E have a specific scent?? What is it?

When making MDMA, MDE, MDA, etc., sometimes a synthetic route is used from the precursor MDP-2-P. MDP-2-P is aquired through a natural source of safrole, which is extracted from sassafras oil, nutmeg oil, etc. The safrole is then isomerized into isosafrole when heated with NaOH, then oxidized into MDP-2-P. Sometimes an aspirator is used instead of a vaccum, which doesn't fully evaporate it, and leaves behind some isosafrole, which gives off a "sassafrass" smell. When I first read that, I had no idea what sassafrass smelled like. Then I went home to NJ and when I walked into my mom's backyard, I smelled beanz! Turns out they had just planted some sassafrass. LOL

E does have a wierd smell to it.Buy a few of the same pills and put them in a ziploc bag for a couple of days then open it a take a wiff.You'll know what e smells like and you won't forget it. Also the worst tasting E is the best.If you lick a pill it should really taste like shit.
 
Yeap. It's a strong sassafras/saffrole smell, you recognize it over time.
Smells kind of like your fingers after you smoke a cigarette. Kind of.
