So I recently started messing around with Molly this summer and had a great time with her, but was intrigued to try the harder rolling of miss Emily.

Took one and a half pills- nothing, not even two hours later. Blah, blah, most likely it was bunk, though my source swears up and down she and her friends did it and had a grand ol' time, but my friend and I both experienced nothing.

So it would be reasonable to conclude it was just shit- but later on in the evening we were taking many dips of Molly, and while I felt mildly euphoric, it wasn't really that significant, and my friend felt almost nothing............ and this was from a completely different source on the same evening.

Is it possible that any of the following would have inhibited this experience: SSRI's, benzos, antipsychotic meds, Propylhexedrine (don't ask, lecture, over it)?? I mean I just can't understand the problem- I've never taken E before, but my friend had...... and- nothing.

Meh.... I mean most likely the E was shit, and the molly was probably just cut with ketamine, because the experiences I had with Molly before were all crystals, and this "molly" was a very 'flour' like powder.

We were probably just fucked over, bahhh.

You're on SSRI's? If so, that's what did it. SSRI's block the effects of MDMA.

If you've been on them for awhile, you won't be able to roll again for quite some time (also depending on which SSRI you were taking).

really? it's Fluvoxamine (Luvox)

I've been on it for several months now.... You're saying I would have to QUIT taking it to ever be able to roll again?

That doesn't seem right :/

"antipsychotic meds"

These nearly completely eliminate any effect other than stimulation, and tone that way down. Combined with SSRI's toning down the serotonin effects even more.

Also, some harm reduction here:

IMO antipsychotic medications are poison - check out how much and how quickly they shrink your brain - probably worse than any drug of abuse you can find.
They were developed to keep mental patients pliant and subjugated. The doctors called them chemical lobotomies when they first came out, and considered this HIGH PRAISE for the drugs.

If you do some deeper research(meaning, look at studies NOT funded by the companies making the drugs) you'll see the long term side effects of the new "atypical" antipsychotics are actually little better then the ones they have largely replaced.

Lifestyle change(highly regular sleeping patterns make a big, big difference over many months), benzos as needed for acute episodes, and long term cognitive therapy are much, much more helpful.

The girl I love used to be on them, but no more after she did her research.

.

Excuse me?

mdma is mdma no matter what form its in. Its also just as likely that one or the other is not all it seems.

You wont roll any harder off a pill than you will off the same ammount of mdma in powder form.

Can I suggest you have a read of the Basics section of the Directory to educate yourself a little about mdma.

thank you for the thread, eon- that does explain perfectly

lamisil, it's my friend who is on the anti-psychotics, and i will have to research that, that sounds horrifying.

and moderator, i should have clarified that during the time i was rolling on molly i was NOT on an SSRI (earlier this summer, had a great time with it)......

and maybe the molly was just placebo effect that night we had taken the E (this is fast forwarded to a few months later after beginning the SSRI), or it was cut with something else that affected me. probably something speedy in there. i did a lot of it, but the general opinion seems to be that i could do seventeen grams and it would make no difference (?) anyway, whatever mdma filtered through the dreaded SSRI roadblock felt nice. DEFINITELY not as good as those first rolls back in may when i wasn't on any prescriptions.....

E definitely doesn't work with SSRIs no matter how much you take. I got some great pills that tested clean and had me and a friend rolling face. My other two friends who were on Zoloft didn't roll at all off em. One of them took a whole bunch and just got sweaty as hell, but that was it. The other friend recently quit Zoloft and was finally able to roll again. If you're on SSRIs, I wouldn't even waste your money trying.

question
what is emily?
is that what you call pills? im confused/

yeah george, thanks, wish i would have done my research and saved some cash.

and sorry Molly (pure mdma) Emily (x, cut with god-knows-what)

so sad, i really wanted to know what it was like to roll HARD, not just the clean lovey-doveyness of pure MDMA.... (though, gotta love it in good company)

Once again, I would like to point out that mdma is mdma no matter what form its in and mg for mg will have the exact same affect.

Im not quite sure what your asking.
