I've never used DXM/Ketamine/MXE/PCP recreationally, but I had a very random thought.

If someone were to take a low dose of DXM, maybe 30-45mg, a dosage that is often used to prevent tolerance increases to opioids and amphetamines, an hour before taking a recreational dosage of DXM, would the first dose DXM that has been converted in to DXO (a powerful, voltage-independent NMDA antagonist) prevent tolerance increases to:

1. The recreational effects of the second dose of DXM (a stimulant)?

and

2. The recreational effects of DXO (the O-Desmethylated NMDA antagonist that DXM is converted in to) from the second dose? The DXO is responsible for the "robotrip." This is what would be funny, using an NMDA antagonist to prevent a tolerance increase to the recreational effects of NMDA antagonist usage. :D
