Substances: Dipropyltryptamine hydrocloride
DXM (powder)
Experience: I have taken DXM many times. I have only snorted DPT a few times. Once before with DXM.
Set & Setting: Earlier in the day my friend N. convinced me that we should be doing something other then sitting around. We wound up taking
800 mg of DXM. I felt great when we arrived at S and C's house. These two were sober. N. says he really wants to do some DPT.
S and C get a mirror. The DPT is poured onto it. N. goes first and snorts quite a bit. I would estimate at least 125 mg. He says "I'm fine" signaling that its my turn. I would estimate that I did 100 mg. Before I really notice any effects N. exclaims "Now I remember why I never wanted to do this again". N. goes to lay down. I start to get a little worried as I'm starting to feel the DPT. I decide to sit in a chair while S and C try to calm down N..
I hear him talking about opening up doors to his mind in the other room.
At one point he runs in with a horrid look on his face and goes "WHY DID YOU DO THIS SHIT WITH ME". At another he told me I looked like I changed into a completely different person ie I was changing colors.
I went to the bathroom where I stayed for awhile. It had these white walls and I felt that the whole room was pulsing with the same energy vibration I was feeling. I felt like laying down in the bathtub with no water in it but resisted the temptation. I felt like I was a spinning disk. I left the bathroom.
I went to get a glass of water (it was hard to walk) but after setting my glass down I wondered which one was my glass. After I figured out it was the one I just set down I went to sit down. I then got caught in a thought loop of if I thought the water was something other then water would it turn into that ? After a few minutes of this I realized I should just drink the water. This really helped calm me down (sipping on the water).
N. came in and asked to drink some of my water which I let him. N. looked like he was electrocuted his hair was standing straight up. One of the sober people took our picture which must be crazy looking but I've never seen it. As I was sitting in a chair I kept asking what time it is as I had no time perception. I focused on breathing and soon felt as though I wasn't breathing at all. I reached an amazing peak at about 45-50 minutes after snorting the DPT. Afterwards it had a dramatic drop off just like LSD and Magic Mushrooms.
N. told me I should try talking to myself as he was having alot of fun talking to himself. Also N. thought he had been at the same house for a day or so instead of an hour. Soon after we left.
I went home and I was still having trouble walking. I noticed a weird
drone sounding noise that I'm pretty sure only existed in my head.
Retrospective: Overall it was a difficult experience at times but a really amazing one. N. got "the best visuals of his life" and puked during the experience. I never puked or felt any sickness in the slightest. More or less everything open eye looked pretty wired but I didn't have any closed eye visuals. One of my more memorable drug experiences.
