dxm and xanax?

if this is the wrong forum, please mods move it where it needs to go, wasnt too sure. so anyway, this morning i took about 4mg xanax before work. this was about 9 am. i plan to dose a 600mg dxm trip tonight, just wanna make sure itll be alright. feels like the xanax has left my system, but i dont want a bum trip or anything. any thoughts, questions, or comments? thanks

There shouldn't be any dangerous interaction. It depends on how the xanax after effects make you feel. If you feel fine and not crappy I don't see there being anything wrong with it.

Well if you're still feeling kinda numb from the xanax the trip will not be a real trip; it could be boring.

It's not dangerous but things like benzos are used to mellow out and end trips.

you think the xanax would still have an effect 12 hours after dosing? i definitely dont feel the effects of it anymore, but i guess it could very well still be in my system.

It won't be as good as it would be if you hadn't taken any benzos for a few days.

If you want a real trip, postpone for another day when you've prepared for it and have a clean slate of a system.
