DXM and Wellbutrin (Bupropion 150mg) question

I know DXM is a no-no while on ssri drugs (learned that the hard way). Anyway, i haven't tripped in about 2 months and want to trip sometime in the next few days. My question is, is it safe to do a second plateau trip 2 days after taking wellbutrin? i don't take it everyday so it doesn't build up in my system, and i also know it is NOT an SSRI. Will there be adverse effects in tripping 2 -3 days after taking Wellbutrin? i only take 150 mg a day, and not every day...maybe 3-4 times a week, usually when i just dont have enough money for cigs or just dont wanna smoke then, b.c while on Wellbutrin (bupropion) i only smoke 2-3 cigs a day. Any info will greatly be appreciated and if this isnt the right spot for this post feel free to move it.
 
Yeah 150mg is a low dose, two days should be fine. You could probably take a second plateau on 150mg tbh, the only thing to be concerned about is your blood pressure rising too high; but its good to he cautious.
 
I'm on wellbutrin 100 SR + 60mg Adderall daily, so my experience might not be as relevant but I wouldn't recommend to aim for a guaranteed level 2 while on any particularly stilmulating drug. you'll be fine either way, it's a low dose but you may not enjoy the blending of the two which kept me in a perpetual tweaked state, never let go enough to escape my body so to speak (:
 
There were a few threads here in the last months regarding this subject and iirc the consens was to not mix these two drugs due to potential dangerous interactions.

Thanks for that link, helpful for sure. I should've also added on on methadone maintenance 90 mg a day. ive only used dxm to trip a handful of times, and the only bad trip i had was over the summer while i was taking paxil everyday...stupid i know. I find that the methadone potentiates the dxm or vice-versa. I think im gonna just go ahead and do it, but maybe take 3-4 days off the wellbutrin so its out of my system. The bupropion i take is IR so should be long enough, and ive tripped on mdone a few times so i know that will be fine.
 
Oh one last thing, please anyone still reading this that may be able to help, i have a seraquel prescription (very low dose- 50 mg a night for sleep/ i got it from the methadone clinic when i started there, i have no psych issues). I havent taken it in at least 3 weeks. Anyway point is, if i do start to wig out and get really edgy, will a few seraquels level me out? since i hardly ever take it (i sleep fine without it/ plus it gives me weird dreams and other side effects) i really have little to no tolerance for it. So again, will that be helpful if the trip doesnt go as planned?
 
Be aware that DXM can potentiate Opioids, so if you are taking 90mg Methadone daily a recreational dose of DXM could potentially fuck you up pretty hard.
Do not throw in Seroquel.

"Worst Case" would be: (Wellbutrin)+90mg Methadone+DXM+Seroquel and this sounds like very a nasty cocktail. Even the Methadone+DXM sounds sketchy for me so be careful.
 
ok ill be careful, although like i said ive tripped with dxm on 120 mg methadone a day i believe 2 maybe 3 times. With higher doses then i intend on taking tommorow or the day after. In the past ive taken 350, 375 mg on methadone, and yes been fucked up, but was still able to function. Why is seraquel such a no no? i have xanax bars too, and a couple footballs, would that be better to save me from a bad trip?
 
Yeah DXM in more then 80MG while on Methadone Maintenance Therapy will REALLY be Dangerous Beyond that Like Respirartory Depression Only Mainly Really.
