DXM and tricyclic antidepressant

Hello,
I'm on Anafranil (Clomipramine, 75mg) and I would like to try DXM.
On erowid it is said that you have to be very careful with DXM if you take SSRIs or tricyclic antidepressants due to serotonin syndrome.

Everyone tested it ? It is still possible to try the first plateau

No. This is not safe period. There is no way for us or you to tell how much serotonin is in you brain. You can make a wrong turn just on regular therapeutic doses of dxm with TCA's

I took it for cough year ago and I was taking TCAs at this time and I had nothing. But I prefer to play it safe and try it. I was just wondering if someone did it.

It's not good to mix the two. The SS can be random. If it doesn't happen now, it can later.

sorry to bump an old post but I find lost saying no DXM with ssri's but nothing about tricyclics. drugs.com and rxlist even says theres no interaction. just interactions with ssri's
