DXM (400mg+) + Hydrocodone (20mg) - First time Combo - In Another World

400+ MG DXM + 20 MG Hydrocodon

Did this combo last night with great results:

First, about 400 MG DXM (a little over half an 8 oz bottle). I waited an hour or so for it to kick in, then read and putz around until I felt I was nearing my peak. AT the peak, I dropped 20mg hydrocodone by way of 2 Norco 10s.

Damn, about 20 mins later I was in another world...but the hyrdocodone took the edgy, "chemical" feel off of the DXM and I was in pure bliss. I listened to Wish You Were Here, and the album seemed to FLY by, unlike when on weed. It was neat, I could pick up every instrument, lyrics, etc, but time was really fast. Maybe not as "trippy" as when on weed, but still fun.

I puked at this point(made it to the toilet), I don't know why, but I did, and felt 100% better. This was maybe 2 and a half hours in.

After that, I still felt the Robo hard core, so I laid down in my bed and relaxed. I didn't get ANY visuals what so ever. Kinda disappointed there...does the DXM need to be at higher levels to get visuals?

Anyways, I simply melted into my bed about 4 and a half hours after dosing, woke up about 8 hours later...no hangover. All in all, it was a GREAT time...I just wish I could have gotten some visuals! The Hydrocodone really seemed to react well with the DXM at its peak. Lst time I did DXM, I felt really panicky and itchy and outta wack. The hydrocodone just kinda said, "Chill." %)

To get visuals, should I possibly even shoot into the 700 mg range of DXM next time? (A Full 8 oz bottle?)

Oh, and I forgot to mention. About 4 hours into the trip (around 2 am) I took a 5mg Ambien because I could see I wasn't going to get any sleep. Knocked me out, so I guess I was okay doing that. My Robo mind said it was okay, but it probably wasn't the brightest of ideas. But anyways, feeling great today...thumbs up to DXM!

no. not necasserily, my first time with dxm produced almost no visuals at 400 mg. second time i overdid it somewhat, plenty of visuals at 500 mg + liquor. but now, it feels almost natural, i have visuals even at doses as low as 300/350 mg. it almost looks like the reverse tolerance everyone's mentioning with salvia, maybe it has this effect for me, but it could be different for you. first see how it works at the same dose, if that doesn't work, just take some more.

if you were referring to Incubus, then the album is called Morning view, a song on it is called I wish you were here. excellent choice btw, listening to it right now.

Glad you followed the advice given and stuck to a low dose of hydrocodone.
Glad it was all good and everything!

I take it ambien is anti-anxiety, benzo? ..Probably not that dangerous taking it towards the end of the trip....
I frequently take benzos when I want to sleep after a long 12 hour acid haul. It's the only way I can!

Haha...I meant WYWH by FLoyd...the 40 minute album seemed to soar by in like 10 mins...was kinda cool.

I'm going to try a lower dose of DXM tonight (minus 300)...I think I may have gone into a high second, low third plateau last night...that syrup was really easy to chug, and half the bottle was gone before I knew it, lol. I wanna try to keep it in the first or low second because, apparently, that's the most fun and comformtable.

Also, Ambien is NOT a benzo, but related. Knocks you out...kinda interested in combining it with DXM cause Ambien can cause visuals on its own.

Anyone here try Xanax or Valium with DXM? I have about 2.5 MG of Xanax on hand, and plenty of Valium....maybe try a cool combo.

oh yeah, haha, pink floyd, god why couldn't i get that i don't know, maybe because i was listening to incubus when i saw this post, kinda obvious but haha, still jumped to the conclusions. btw, "better" music does not exist bloodliketheatlantic, it's personal preference, same with drugs for instance, you like this, i like that, we all like something else better..

low dose dxm trips can be fun duqrulz, but taking xanax together with it? i wouldn't even consider it, guess that will knock you out as well. just smoke plenty of weed with it, that would make your trip a little more interesting. also, try to keep dxm use in moderation, dosing a couple of days afterwards isn't the smartest thing to do. try to wait two weeks before you take another dex trip. tell us how it went tonight, kinda interested in what you took this time.

Yeah, I know to moderate DXM use...but I'm still on thx-giving break (live in the states), bored as hell, parents don't like the smell of weed...haha. So this will be my last dosing for a good bit.

I just drank a little less then 4 oz of tussin...so that's probably about 300 or less mg of DXM. I'll see if the trip's more enjoyable. I might combine a clozepam (or xanax or valium) towards the peak to see if it helped like the hydrocodone did. DXM has a real "chemical" feel to it...you KNOW this is a wierd drug at work. But the hydrocodone seemed to chill me out. I'm sure a benzo will do the same, if not better. If all else fails, I'll fall asleep, and the bottle of Tussin was $5.99 US...no big loss

275mg or so DXM + 15 MG Ambien + 10 MG Clonezpam wasn't all that great last night. I started to get visuals, but then I'd hunt them down and they 'd run away, lol. At some point, the world would go liquidy, but I came down pretty fast from from trip. I was sober within about 3-4 hours.

The visuals were neat tho...it was the first time I got (sought) them. if I bent my eyes towards the darkened ceiling, it took the darkness a while to catch up...like a cloud moving. Then I saw some shapes shifting, and something almost like the starfield screen saver which moved to the music I had on. But that was only for about 15 mins...I eventually got frustrated and I'm sure that ruined the DXM trip, lol.

Taking a break for a few weeks. I think in Mid-December I'm going to try out a full 600-700mg Trip. The last two trips (yesterday, day before) were fine...no probs whatsoever. Hydrocodone is a GREAT combo (small doeses, mind you...I took 20mg), the Ambien (15mg) really didn't do anything. A benzo will take the edge off the trip, but possibly hamper CEVs?

All in all, DXM is a extremely...uh...odd drug, that can go either way. If you decide to trip on it, first time, go with less than 4 oz (350 mg or so). I've seen what 500 or so can do, it's neat...I'm going full bore in a month or so. Just giving my brain a break.

I didn't really get visuals from DXM in thr 600-700mg range.. Was dissapointed too. Try smokin a bit of weed and laying back, and try not to anticipate them.
