Drunk FB messages. Help

Hey so here is the problem Im having. I got a little drunk and sent a message I shouldnt of sent on Face Book. Well once I sobered up I realized it and I deleted the whole account the messages was sent from. I know for a fact the person they were sent to hadnt gotten them yet. So my question is. Since I deleted the account the originated from was the messages also deleted? Or will the person still have them in there inbox? Thanks ahead.

Should of changed the name before deleting the account.

I mean, when I sent someone a drunk message on a dating website, I just told them I was on sleep meds at the time and apologized....I mean, it depends on what was in the message. Mine was just incoherent ranting, so I was able to brush it off as such. Anyway, depending on what was said, deleting your FB account may have been an extreme measure...

Agreed, it really depends on what you said. I would've just tried to brush it off as it can happen to anyone
