Drugs Aren't So Easy to Get

I've smoked weed for a while, and drunk alcohol for while. But I'm now beginnging to want to move onto other drugs. The problem is that they are not so easy to get. All my life I've been fed this government propaganda about how drugs are everywhere, being forced on kids at every street corner in America. I FUCKING WISH!!! No one forces drugs on me, no has searched me out to sell me drugs, except for pot in a few occasions. Now I have sources that can get plenty of E, and sometimes coke and rock, but that's about it. I can't get K, Speed, shrooms, not even acid (unless I was willing to buy $500 worth, and I don't want that much). Did anyone else have this problem when they were first getting into other drugs? Did the problem eventually go away as you made more connections? Or do you still have this problem? Maybe its just my situation, but I have a suspicion that it's more than that.

Absoluetly correct.
If you don't know the right people, it is merely impossible to find drugs. You can't just walk up to someone on the street and be like "Hey man, know where I can get some ketamine???"
You got to meet people, and that can take years. Good luck though.

Really though, it is all about knowing lots of people. At the beginning of this summer, I had only one or two connects for kind bud; now I have about 10 different sources. You just have to dig. Really rare drugs like DMT and DOB can take years to find. Most drugs can be found fairly easily. The problem is that many drug users are antisocial and being social is the only way to make those connections. Nobody is going to walk up to you and ask if you want to buy some 2CB. You are going to have to dig deep (Deeper for some drugs than others) and have patience. Just look at the FAQ at www.psychonaut.org. One question was where do you find these drugs at. He commented that he devoted himself to the task and it took years to find DMT (not 5MEO DMT). There just isn't a market for a lot of drugs and only a small circle of people will ever see them. Location is one factor but how hard you try to find it is another. I haven't been able to get shrooms all summer but they are definitely around because I know a lot of people who have gotten them by chance and ate em all up (those bastards).

Yes, I agree that it's more difficult to find a connection than many people believe. My connections went as follows:
Dealer #1 - Pot
Dealer #2 (who was dealer #1's dealer) - Pot and Hash
Dealer #3 - A service in the city that carried Pot, Acid, Hash, Mushrooms
Dealer #4 - Pot
After that, I started to get into the club scene. A friend of mine told me his boyfriend had bought them some X. When I heard this I begged him to ask his boyfriend to refer me to his dealer. He did, but I was just lucky the dealer agreed cause (5 years later with the same dealer) I know he doesn't often accept new clients. Anyway, this guy carried just about everything. And, if he didn't have it, but you asked real nice he'd find it for you.
After that, I met 3-4 other dealers that carried most everything. Once you have a good connection, then everyone else who has a good connection will want to swap price info and what not . Then you have another dealer's phone number.
However, I recently moved to a new city where I knew no one. It's been a year now and I still haven't found a dealer. I have made some friends who use drugs and I can sometimes get drugs through them. But, they themselves aren't directly connected to a dealer. Usually I can get X and GHB, the later which I'm indifferent too. Still, it's iffy. I've started growing my own pot; so, that's not a problem. Actually, I don't have a problem getting them cause when I go to one of the other cities I've lived in I buy a bunch of stuff.
So, yeah... it isn't that easy. Do heed the advice here by others. Don't be so desperate to find drugs that you get busted. Never, buy on the street, or in a club from someone you don't know. Just keep your ear out for people you know who use X. And, don't become a crack whore once you find them.

I'm going to agree with a lot of what Abra is saying.
Part of the reason there isn't a large market for more obscure drugs also occurs for a few reasons.
First of all, most of those drugs have to be taken at very specific doses. Say like DOB is one of the most mindblowing experiences you can have at 1-2 mgs. But at 3 mgs you're starting to overdose. Now if you try to explain how it works to people they get scared off because it's too complicated and goes over their heads. Or othertimes people just can't handle these concepts of doses and end up taking extremely large amounts and have horrible experiences. Your *average* drug user is a complete moron who likes to "get f***ed up".
The other big reason why obscure drugs are obscure is because most people do not want to try new stuff they've never heard of. Believe me, I've seen people try to walk around an outdoor rave with research chems and they wouldn't have been able to give even half of what they had away explaining people the crazy chemical names. They were really suprised when they offered me some and I knew exactly what they were talking about... then really disappointed when I told them I wouldn't touch the stuff if they payed me.. heh.
Anyways Asmodeus.. I guarantee you that there are tons of drugs in your area, because there are tons of drugs everywhere. Just a few years ago there was a huge news story because it was discovered that some tiny Amish town was loaded with cocaine and meth. If you really desire to search and and try new drugs, you're just going to have to be patient and meet people with similar interest. You usually have to find out who the dealers are friends with and meet them and meet there friends. Specific drugs always have 6 degrees of seperation or less.
But you might want to keep this in mind. From someone who's been there and done that, searching for them is a waste of time in my opinion. All drugs become mundane and boring eventually. There's nothing you get out of your effort other than being able to say you did this or that.

I really appreciate the feedback guys, you've all been extremely helpful-and reassuring also. But I'm wondering if what I really need to do is go into the inner city(Detroit in my case). I've always heard that drugs are easily attained there-is this what everyone else does? I really want to try other drugs, espescially K, and acid. I live in an area that is certainly not urban, but at the same time it's not rural either. My only real connection is my cousin. This connection puts me way above anyone else who lives in my area (at least to my knowledge) and every drug user I know uses me. So you see, all my drug relations view me as their connection-which only leaves me with my cousin (weed, E, and sometimes coke and rock). This predicament sucks ass! What I don't get is how my cousin can get me a fucking pound of high quality weed at the drop of a dime, but can't get me one fucking gram of K. How the hell does this make sense! For the longest time I thought I had the greatest connection ever, but as I began to inquire into other drugs, I soon discovered that it just wasn't so. I'm sorry-I'm just really frustrated.

im in a similar 'un-drugged' boat. it sucks. for awhile it was great. pot whenever we needed it, acid was a tad pricey, but plentiful, shrooms were there. all the things i enjoyed at not too out of my reach prices. then the dealer got busted and for a while it was all but impossible to get anything. but now, slowly things have been picking up. also ive been meeting more people with connections (meeting people is undoubtedly the key) and pot is plentiful again, cid is just around the corner, rumors of shrooms have been spreading, life will be good again.

Don't just drive around the inner city looking for drugs, you'll get yourself robbed or killed that way.
Instead just make friends with people from different parts of your area.
Some examples of ways to do that would be to take a philosophy class at a community college, you'll recognize the druggies in the class... Then you talk them up, get to know them, feel them out carefully, then bring up the subject of drugs... offer to get them high some time... from there, a new drug connection can develop...

well, it just depends on where your CUZ gets his WEED..if he gets it from a suppkier with MEXICAN TIES, the im sure he could score some KETAMINE...it all depends where the supplier is from, who he knows etc etc..

around my area(when i was in high school) me and my buddies were all looking for ACID and it seemed NO ONE had it..once a year it seemed someone would come around with 10 or hits..i dont know if the area was that dry, or if we just didnt know many people..
round my area, the following drugs are easy to get..WEED(of course),NUBAIN,COCAINE(most of the time),STEROIDS,GBL,and KETAMINE...KETAMINE and GBL are extremely easy to get around the CHICAGo area...it is very hard to find GHB though...HEROIN seems damn near NON-EXISTENT as well, eventhough i have never really tried THAT HARD to find it...
it all depends who u know and where u party..if you are a party animal and go to clubs, and work out at a gym, it is VERY HARD for me to believe you dont have a good hook-up for drugs..

grow your own shrooms if you know how to use a computer you'll fing the right sights. just keep looking to find the rest go to parties and become part of the "scene" don't try to hard they'll find you. theres probably 100 people near you that can get k and all the other drugs you mentioned that would kill for a good solid connect on a lb of killer bud. be your self don't try to hard you'll find it.

I have to agree with ALERT they are easy as fuck to find. Once u find someone who can get one of any type of drug chances are they someone - who knows someone - who knows someone - and so on - until that someone is the certain person who has the shit u want. also thats an easy way to make connections. so just start talking.

Just check out places that people chill around there. Find out if they do drugs or not, and if they do become there friend. If you search hard enough, you will find what you want(usually).

It's all about location, it also helps to have the "mark of Cain" (the dude from the bible-sp?)on your forehead. I stopped doing H years ago but I can still spot a heroin deal or a junkie from miles away and they can spot me even if I don't have marks of sores on my arms anymore.Asodeus:How old are you? It could be harder for younger kids to go to parties and clubs wherer a lot of the "designer drugs" are sold. Make friends with ravers or hippie kids, hang out in the sleazy part of town. If you are in a new city just ask a whore, tell her you'd give a kickdown if she hooks you up and she'd be happy to help you, this has always worked for me, but if you are a minor be prepared to give a big kickdown as supplying drugs to a minor is way risky.The only problem I have when finding drugs is the money aspect.

as everyone has stated above, it's all in who you know. if you're desperate, just hit the city's hottest nightspots and you might be able to make a few contacts there. i do not recommend this approach at all, but it has worked for others in the past. it is very high risk, i mean, you don't really want to try to buy from an undercover, do you?
as far as your cousin being able to get quality weed and nothing else, you've got to take into account that most large "wholesalers" only deal with one item. there's one single operation for each thing when you're talking large quantities, it's just easier that way. you probably are an aquaintance of someone who can get what you are looking for, but the risk of getting busted isn't worth it for some new kid from out of town's high. some people, even though they are not shady, don't realize just how shady they look. and once you do find a hook up for ketamine or whatever you did want, never, ever, ever let any of your friends deal with your guy but you. hook ups, or whatever you'd like to call them, do not like fresh faces, so keep that part of it tight.
but, if the club scene doesn't work for you, hit up a trance party. those little ravers can get you just about anything, but at insane prices. happy hunting!

As much as I hate to say this, I know it's true, so I'll help you out. While I myself go for music first, drugs second, that is not true of many people on the jam band scene. Here is how to find just about any drug you can imagine, of the highest quality, at the cheapest price:
Find out when a jam band, preferably a better-known one (i.e. Phish, String Cheese Incident, Deep Banana Blackout, Phil Lesh & Friends, etc.), is coming to a venue close to you.
Show up at the concert and hang out in the parking lot. Don't wear anything that would make you seem like a "narc." T-shirts and a beat-up pair of pants are good.
Congratulations, you are now in a free and open drug market. Every third person will offer to sell you ecstasy, with every fourth person waving a big, dank nug in your face. Mushrooms and acid will be there, but could take you fifteen minutes to find. Pure MDMA is also very plentiful. Probably two or three people will have coke, and several people will have pharmies, usually xanax and valium. A couple folks will have good, black tar opium and you might even find some ketamine. I have even encountered legit ground, dried peyote. Seek and ye shall find heroin and crack.
Here's what you won't find:
research chems
very rare psychedelics (2c-b, dmt, etc.)
salvia
ghb (but maybe, I've just never heard it offered)
Now, how do I get these drugs, you might ask?
Simply walk up and down the aisles, saying calmly, "Who's got my (real or slang name for drug you desire here)?" Some shady-looking hippy will state the name of the drug and you to will walk about ten feet, and the guy or girl will show you some killer drugs. Unless it is something very rare, shop around, especially for ecstasy, MDMA, weed, mushrooms and acid, as these are very common and you will find better quality for a better price if you hang around and keep looking.
Your chances of being arrested in the parking lot are slim to none. Be intelligent, don't buy from someone who you don't believe to not be a police officer, and keep on the look out for fake drugs.
Oh yeah, almost forgot, if you like nitrous, there will almost always be a big, blue tank of pharmaceutical grade n2o.

Eh, drug users are EVERYWHERE. Learn to spot them. The trick isn't knowing where to look, it is knowing what to look for. And just like with anything else, network, and get a reputation as someone who is willing to spend $$, who is mature, and who is easy to deal with.

And if you are really desperate to find drugs, go to a rave. You can usually find anything from G to Ketamine, Coke, Meth, Ecstasy, Weed, Acid, Shrooms, etc.
At the very least, you can get a free lung full of vicks vaporup!

That should be good for a headrush or something and you don't have to worry about getting arrested.
