Hello i am new here im not sure if this is the right forum topic but iw ant to know if anyone information of anti psychotics and drugs. Im one invega sustenna 117 miligram injections. Ive figured out i cant get high on cannabis. I just took a few bumps of coke and i feel high but i feel like the antipsychotics are interfering with the peak of the coke. Does anyone have information of anti psychotics and all drug types?

They definitely make doing drugs more dangerous. They block as many pleasurable receptor sites as possible to just basically make you a rock that sits there and does nothing. Coke is one that's very likely to be affected because APs basically antagonize every stimulating catecholamine they can get close to.

Anti psychotics are the go to usually for meth users to sleep. I've never been perscribed at home with them, I know they block and dull everything.

Do you feel like you need to be on anti psychotic medicine? I only ever needed it for like drug induced psychosis.

they stop or dull psychedelics for most people i know..

i've heard of people being able to get high with weed on invega but also heard others say it stops the high. there is a thread in "the dark side" section of the forums of blue light with a lot of people going through invega injections.

the thing with taking drugs on anti-psychotics that i think can be dangerous is the AP's dull the high, so if you take more to try to get high, you don't really know an average that the dose is going to be. there's no starter doses with the drugs mixed with AP's. people have very different results with the amount of drugs they take. no one has an amount to tell people to take (i know this is true with regular drug use too, but it seems to be more extreme differences with people's reactions to AP's).. and also i'm not sure if mixing recreational drugs with AP's has been studied in great detail, so you could be an anomaly or new case and have a bad reaction...

i smoke weed on haldol AP injections and it works... the haldol actually doesn't even stop my schizophrenia.. i still get really high... idk. haven't really messed with any other drugs. like i said some people can get high on invega.. i think weed is pretty mild and not really as dangerous physically as some other drugs.. i'm not worried about that myself.. i wouldn't really mess with coke on AP's myself though... i mean, i'd try not to anyways.. if i had some pure coke, i don't know what i'd do.. but i'd like to say and think it'd probably be best to stay away from.... if you were put on AP's it might be best to stay away from recreational drugs in general anyways. i'm not really sure of your situation... anyways, good luck.

i feel like my response "you could be an anomaly" is a bit fear mongering, cause you could be an anomaly with any drug with out AP's involved... but when posting this i understood anti-psychotics and a lot of recreational drugs haven't been studied in great detail... thinking about this more i did some searching...

"Despite the high prevalence of cocaine use disorder in schizophrenia, the impact of cocaine on antipsychotic requirement has not been studied in this population." https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25700142/

i'm sure there are a lot of anecdotal reports of people using AP's and various recreational drugs... i stand by it could be a bad idea.
