A drug that has helped me massively is lamotrigine (Lamictal). In addition to psychological benefits, it has also helped my emotional life.
One of the areas I noticed a huge improvement in with Lamictal use was emotional range/intensity. And it was like I was feeling those emotions in ways I never had before taking the Lamictal. Even though I don't necessarily want to, the best way I can analogize it is to go the "impotency" route. It feels like before I took the lamictal my ability to feel was massively impaired if not nearly outright nonexistent. Then the Lamictal came and changed everything.
Has anyone else taken a drug and noticed a massive increase in their ability/desire to feel love/affection/empathy for others?
