I'll start by saying the combination of drugs I'm on is in no way safe. In fact, although I feel fine, I'm going to stop by the hospital to get some basic diagnostics done like heart rate and blood pressure measurements.
Lately I've been taking baclofen for cocaine cravings. It acts as a GABA-b allosteric ligand I believe, and also as an attenuator of dopamine release. I overdosed on Welbutrin a few weeks ago, had a seizure, and my doctor decided an anti-convulsant/anti-craving drug would be beneficial for me to take. Wow I'm high right now.
Okay, I also started selegiline transdermal patches a few days ago, sticking two of the 6 mg per 24 hrs patches on each day. Today I ran into quite a bit of money, and the cravings got the best of me. I ran into some people with access to drugs and purchased some ecstasy. Not sure what's in them, I'm going to assume mdma and some other amphetamine-like chemical. I took one of those, trying to dose conservatively being on the selegiline and all. Surprisingly, I didn't feel a whole lot from the pill; perhaps just a stronger feeling of connection with those around me, mild effects, contrary to what I expected to happen. Since I hadn't done cocaine in about two and a half months but still had dreams and cravings, I purchased some crack. I smoked it, didn't feel much. I just took the rest of the ~half gram home and injected it over the course of a couple hours.
I am so confused right now. I'm not feeling much from the roll, my breathing is normal and even relaxed. I feel very calm and almost like I did a downer not an upper. None of the cocaine injections produced a bell ringer, which is very unusual for me, especially after having abstained for almost three months.
My guess is that the baclofen acted as almost a cocaine vaccine, similar to naltrexone for narcotics. Along with some sort of neuroprotective effect derived from the selegiline. What are everyone else thoughts on the matter?
