Swim took 45mgs of adderall ir throughout the day, the most recent dose being 4 hours ago. Swim has also been drinking for a good portion of the day, and has had 6 or 7 beers in the last few hours. Swim wants to know if a 1mg of xanax would help knock them out and come down off the amphs, but be up in 8 or 9 hours for work. Is this combo a total KO or will i be cool to wake up in the morning. Any advice and help is appreciated. Thanks.

Not thinking an appropriate post for OD. Not to be a prick, but review the standards. Answering this questions is too full of variables, and it would never be smart to advise one to take a benzo with alcohol. Just lie down and relax.

I will offer a simplistic 2c despite the overlying uncertainty surrounding the pertinence of the post's presence in this section. I believe your intake of alcohol to offset the vasoconstricting effect of Adderal that could hinder your sleep was plenty sufficient so no need to waste a perfectly good Xanax on a job that's already done. Not to mention that booze + benzos = bad mix.

Drinking on Adderall (think of your liver!) is so bad for you, and adding a benzo to the mix is just asking for trouble.
Doing it once (hopefully) won't hurt you, I just really really really hope you don't do this ever again.
