So this morning a friend calls me & asks if she can mix her coke into a bottle of lemonade & drink it (why she would want to do this i do not know.) I was always told you arent supposed to get it wet, but I wasnt sure... Is it possible to use coke this way & still feel the same effects?
 
^ The BA is really low when taken orally. Most drugs can be taken orally some have high oral BA but some have really low BA like bupe.
 
Cocaine has a 60-80% intranasal bioavailability and a 33% oral bioavailability so there is a loss of potency utilizing this route of administration. It will take longer to come on, last longer and likely change the nature of the effects some. It won't be as instantly euphoric and I speculate that the crash won't be as severe.

There have historically been many beverages that contained cocaine from vin mariani (endorsed by Popes!) to original coca-cola. As feste mentioned, coca tea is also still widely available and legal in many places.

Since this is a pretty basic dosing question, I'll send it over to BDD.

there is ~0.5-1.0gm of cocaine per 100grams of dry leaf; and 99% all dry leaves exported from Columbia are treated to greatly lower the levels of active compounds in said leaves. So you would be lucky to get a 1/8gram of cocaine from 100gm dry imported leaf.

In reality if you were wanting to get a buzz from coca leaf tea you need to drink 50grams. Unless you grow it yourself like I do :\

Most effects you are feeling when you drink imported coca tea are 99% placebo effect.
 
I wasn't trying to imply that coca tea is recreational... if it were, it wouldn't be so widely and readily available. Its about as recreational as strong coffee or yerba mate.

I'm not aware of any sites based in the UK, which is not to say there aren't any. Not terribly well informed on the law there. Khat might be worth exploring if it's legal there. iT isn't in the US.
 
In what way would the effects of cocaine alter if you drink it, and you guys say you need to drink more, but im pretty sure i have read somewhere that if you take like 1gr of cocaine orally that it could be deadly?

Depending on the purity of the coke, yes it could be deadly. But coca leaf is far from pure cocaine.

Yes, I know that, but thats not what I'm talking about, I'm talking about real cocaine in a drink, just as the original poster, but you guys just started blabering about coca leaf thea ^^
 
someone JUST posted that the B/A orally is 33% whereas the insufflated B/A is 60-80%, so DO the math dude, you need to use 37-57% more orally than you would intranasally to achieve a similar level of effects, as always start small though as Everyone's body is different.

I read that and I can do the math. But I doubt the effects will be the same orally or intra nasally...
Just like doing MDMA or amphetamines intra nasally and orally give a different kind of effect
Or like cannabis orally or smoking, or like doing something IV...
Im not asking what to dose, Im asking about the effects
 
Ha. Damn, I want on board with the coco leaves. I've heard of it being fatal mixed with alcohol. Wouldnt it be way to easy to mix in too much in a drink??
