SWIM's dog wants to do autohemotherapy for his severe and resistant acne. He's having trouble to perform venipuncture. He's able to hit the vein, draw some blood(like 1 or 2ML), but the needle soon comes out of his skin without any apparent reason. Even if he doesn't move the needle/his arm. Does anyone have an advice for SWIM's dog?

BTW, he's using EMLA to decrease the pain related to venipuncture. Could this be affecting his results?
