Misc Doxylamine Succinate vs Diphenhydramine ?

I have a slight experience with both antihistamines, but not enough to favor one over the other. I've used Diphenhydramine for potentiating opiates once in the past to my satisfaction but cant remember if using it for sleep was any good. With Doxylamine I've heard some good things about it in terms of sleeping but not yet used it. In terms of solely using either one for sleeping, which one is recommended for falling asleep & staying asleep too. Which one of the two do u all prefer n recommend ? I'm contemplating using either one for sleep tonight after coming down off dextroamp, wanting to get a good sleep.

Doxylamine is probably more effective at inducing sleep; it is stronger than an equivalent dose of phenobarbital for that purpose. It's also the one of the main ingredients in NyQuil, a night time allergy medication.
