So today when i went to my third peroid i took 1mg of xanax, the next 2 and a half hours flew by, why is this? i wasnt high just buzzed a little

it "distracts" you from whats going on around you.. if that sounds right

I know what you mean. I use to take bars at work to make the day fly by. I wasn't focused on the moment, just cruisin along with it

I think it has something to do with memory and it's relation to the perception of time passage. I once read somewhere the brain marks the passage of time by "noticeable" events, that's why if you watch a pot of water it seems like it'll never boil. Benzos fog up the memory, mostly without you realizing it. I think that's what warps your sense of time. If that makes any sense haha.

Yea i guess that's what it was, i kept day dreaming, i usually take them at night so i dont really notice it because i end up asleep after a hour, but then again at night i take like 3mg so im pretty high when i take more than 2 mg

I get the same thing. Pop a bar or 2 and the next thing you know, it's the next day. It sure is fun :D
