It may, it may not.
Drinking lots of water, eating food like a burger/pizza/eggs/steak, drinking powerade/gatorade, hot shower, shitting/puking, hair of the dog or drinking a small amount of what you had the night before or having one beer, and drinking green tea worked for me when I'd have hangovers that made me feel like I'd been hit by a trick or run over by a train and I'd wake up still drunk.
I'm glad I don't drink like that anymore.
