Does weed go bad?

This summer, I want to collect samples of a bunch of different strains of marijuana and roll a blunt with them. Does weed go bad/spoil? Will my weed get me just as high 2-3 months later?
 
Weed does go bad. It takes a while though, store it in an airtight container away from light and it should last a while. Also don't roll a blunt and save it for 3 months as the weed would degrade faster and that would be the stalest blunt ever lol.
 
I meant like, save samples of weed for a few months and then role a blunt with a bunch of different types of pot.
 
Store in a Ziplock bag with the air squeezed out and if possible, in a freezer. It should last a long time that way (how long exactly Ionno).
 
keep it in an airtight container, away from heat and light and it should stay the same for about a year. any longer, and I recommend freezing. freezing will degrade it a little. but, not as much as age at that point.
 
wouldnt you say that freezing is only a good idea to do once? a consistent freeze/thaw cycle would be pretty bad for the plant tissue
 
If it is for just 2-3 months, seal it up in a jar or tupperwear. Might be a little stale, but it will still be effective. It's cool to save a little bit and all, but putting it all in a blunt wouldn't really be that cool. I don't think you'd "feel" all the different strains, and it would prob taste like whatever blunt wrap you use.

yes. only freeze it until you are ready to take it out and use it. don't keep putting it in and taking it out of the freezer.
 
depends on how dry your dank is...

For the most part, i've smoked weed that i've kept sense high school.

I've saved a Quarter pretty much of every "great" weed i've ever tried.

The other day i smoked this 7 year old weed, it was dryer than sand and crumbled as i pulled it out of this one bag of mine...

It was like smoking in a time machine...

Many years ago i had a freshly bought ounce of Afgan buds that went moldy and i smoked the ounce and had no negative effects. My reasoning was that any microrganisms were destroyed by the fire. Why do you say it is harmful?
 
It all depends on the microorganism. Some are rather harmless, others can kill you. Fire won't necessarily destroy the organism and might free up spores from a mold for you to inhale. Your health simply isn't worth the risk.
 
buy sucking on a joint or even a bowl of weed that is moldy, you run the risk of pulling off some loose spores on the unlit end. thats how you can get sick from it. believe it. it happens.
 
Weed doesn't go bag, I mean if it's wet it gets moldy.

The cannabis stash they found in that ancient Chinese ruin still had THC after godknowshowmanyyears
