This is a strange one, but hear me out:

When I've been for a long run or done some kind of endurance work and really sweated for an hour I go for a shower and I can smell peroxide like when you're in the hairdressers and someone on the other side of the room is getting a bleach/perm.

I've also smelled it when making a cup of tea in the kitchen too, again after doing an hour+ of endurance work, so it can't be coming from my shower or shower head.

It's like a fresh/clean peroxide smell, not too overpowering but there all the same.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I gave up smoking about 6 months ago so that might be why I notice it now. I've also cut out fatty food and been eating a lot of fruit recently (bananas, apples, pears...).

Hmm, maybe, but I had a varied diet before. I ate good stuff and not so good stuf. I just stopped snacking on crisps or sweets and replaced them with a piece of fruit.

I have recently started drinking quite a lot of Roibos tea though.
