Just as the title says, I'm wondering if phenibut affects your memory like benzos do. Does it inhibit your thinking in any way?

I'm interested in trying this for social anxiety, but I do not want to take anything that will affect memory or mental clarity, especially if it's in a similar fashion to the way benzos (specifically alprazolam) do.

The good news is: no it doesn't.

The bad news is: it doesn't do anything else either.

Waste of money IMO

phenibut doesn't impair your memory or inhibit thinking at all. works good for anxiety for my experiences; 800 to 1200mg doses usually. it feels more like a naturally good day than a drug.

if you eat a high dose, like over 2 grams, it'll give you a headache. but the headache doesn't impair function any more than a normal headache.

i'd like to point out it takes 2-3 hours for it to hit.

Get Relax-All by MRM - it has phenibut but also honokiol, magnolol, ashwaganda, valerian, and jujebe... that stuff knocks me on my ass within 5 minutes. One capsule (it recommends 3) feels like I just took 2mg of Xanax...

Phenibut = win in the 1 - 2g range.. very good mood lift and definate decreased (social) anxiety for 24 hours..

No it doens't make you forgetful.

He wants it for anxiety.. it doesn't cause euphoria per se but it puts you in a good mood for about 24 hours..

Yeah. I'm not trying to get high on it. I'm trying to medicate social anxiety without inhibiting my daily function.
