ive heard of the bleach test which my stuff passes, but my buddy told me bomb stuff floats other sinks in water since its oil based. is this true?

in bleach it floats and dissolves, but in water just sinks, didnt watch it long enough to see if dissolving

if it is freebase it is an "oil" and will float on top of the water in liquid form.
