Harm Reduction Does Lamictal cause bad dreams?

A quick google search says it can cause vivid dreams and nightmares.

I've been taking Lamictal for about 10 months now. Dreams are quite vivid, but not completely unusual or terrifying. The main thing I've noticed with Lamictal is that my short-term memory is very poor. I get stuck on stupid sometimes. Also, it has highly intensified OCD symptoms.

If its vivid dreams you are after and dont get me wrong I enjoy vivid dreaming and have the ability to know when I am in a dream or not try Phenibut and a nicotine patch. Now that causes some fucked up dreams that I really enjoy

That´s true! Nicotine patch causes really strange dreams. They are interesting, quite vivid and others are just amazing.

One shrink tried to prescribe me this shit. It's older than dirt. This may be old news, but if you are even entertaining suicidal thoughts, chuck that shit down the drain: there is no antidote and it can kill you.

This is not a drug for 'tripping' of any sort. My own serious personal misgivings aside, there are a plethora of better drugs to take to have vivid dreams. It's prescribed for Bipolar 1. and any shrink who can diagnose that in less than 15 minutes is either God or a quack.

Didn't cause me bad dreams like other meds have. Very minor. Lamictal is a great drug,it really makes it easier to get through the day. It seems to be loosing a bit of its effect. The rash everyone talks about is so rare as long as it is started at low dose. The same rash can be caused by tylenol.
