I was wondering if Ketamine or DXM really help bring down the tolerance level of opiates??

Yes, dissasociatives really do make your opiate tolerence drop. However it probably isn't going to be a significant amount...Nothing but taking a break will lower your tolerence significantly.

ive heard this too, but am confused as to what it means. will your tolerance drop only while on dxm or k, or as a result of using those drugs.

Plug "ketamine" and "morphine" into web search engines and you'll get some info. I dont think that this is completely understood but there is data to suggest that it is true.

In cancer patients whose pain is not relieved by morphine, the addition of intravenous ketamine appears to have a significant analgesic effect, according to a report by Italian researchers.

I would disagree with Deus; I find ketamine and DXM to SIGNIFICANTLY lower opiate tolerance. Recently after a night of ketamine binging, I took 350mg or so of codeine. Normally I can barely catch a buzz off of codeine, but this time it hit me like a ton of bricks! I highly recommend any opiate user to experiment with ketamine or DXM to lower tolerance.

Here's the scoop on DXM/K lowering tolerance as I understand it.
Taking a small amount of K either swallowed or snorted shorty BEFORE you use the opiate will prevent tolerance from forming for that session.
DXM is a differnt story. If you have a high tolerance and stop for say a day or two and during those sober days you take a little over the reccomended dose of DXM one or two times a day for those two days; when you use an opiate the next day your tolerance should be very close to baseline depending on exactly how high your opiate tolerance is.

Very intresting, I will have to subject myself to a study to see how well it works :-)

this should probably be a whole different post but whatever.....What about taking dxm to prolong mdma trips. I heard that the same enzyme is used by the body to break down the two chemicals so if you take a low low dose of dxm (maybe like between 50-100 mg) and then take yo E, will your roll be longer?

Yup! DXM (in about 3-times the recomended dose, not enough to 'trip' or anything) will help keep your tollerance low, while ketamine, even is low doses, will amplify the effects of opiates/opioids...

Correct, MDMA related stuff isn't acceptable for this forum...
