Does caffeine interfere with benzos?

I think i may have asked this question before, but, i just drank a Monster Rehab at the park, nice when it's all sunny.
Anyway, back to the point, if i took 6x2mg (12mg) xanax XR, would the caffeine interfere with the xanax, would there be a risk of bad side effects?

And in general, could you take a benzo or and then right away drink an energy drink/coffee/something with caffeine in it?

i read you're supposed to double the dose when it's XR and it's worked well for me, so don't go on about the dosage please.

6 or 12mg is high for a benzo-naive person, but for someone w/ a tolerance, it can be a drop in the hat.

Beyond that, I would consider caffeine's ability to increase anxiety, and cause racing thoughts. Seems to me this is exactly what the benzo is for; or more that one will cancel the other out.
 
i'm not benzo-naive, i have a tolerance, i'd get fucked up otherwise
i'm just worried about throwing up 'cause maybe caffeine and xanax will cause you to do that
i have a phobia of it, so bad i tried killing myself 4 times
 
Vomiting has caused you to commit suicide several times? I'm truly sorry to hear that.. a natural function shouldn't have that much impact upon you. :( Good luck!

I haven't ever vomited as a result of benzos, so I can't say they would be the cause of any problems.

my phobia has made me try and kill myself so yeah
but i'm better now, i have my music and it helps me get my mind off it
 
Oh boy, I know how phobias can be "all encompassing"...

There are definitely people that can help you, both emotionally and medically if possible. Good luck.
 
I usually take drink some caffeine when I take large doses of benzos. It only semi keeps me alert/awake. Never noticed any negative side effects, especially vomitting.
