Does being a herbalist pay well?

I'm thinking I want to be a herbalist. Do you think that pays well?. I'm not looking to own my own private jet or anything. Where would I
wawrk? I looked in a program guide put out by my local college and I did not see any classes for a herbalist. I just think that herbs are so well, good. And well like natural suppliments and stuff. I mean 5-htp, is extracted from the griffonia bean(whatever that is). I wish exctasy grew on a vine. That would be grand!
