(answered) Does anyone know whatever happened to Jamshyd?

I don't know where to post this. I didn't know him, I just found his posts very helpful and informative. I searched his profile, and he hasn't posted here since 2011, when he stated he was having some health issues. I don't want to pry, but I am curious if he's OK and why such a prolific and intelligent poster would just disappear without at least a public goodbye. I guess it does happen.
